Sunscreen is essential for anyone who wants to protect their skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays. At Anthropologie we have all types of sunscreens, including lotions, mists & sprays.
How often should you reapply sunscreen?
The answer is every two hours, especially if you’ve been swimming or sweating. If you’re using a water-resistant type, it’s every 80 minutes.
Does sunscreen expire?
The answer is yes. Sunscreen has an expiration date, usually indicated on the packaging. Once it’s expired, it may no longer be effective. Be sure to check the date before using it.
How much sunscreen should you use?
The general rule is a shot glass amount for the entire body. When it comes to your face, at least a nickel-sized amount is recommended.
What SPF should you use?
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using a sunscreen of at least SPF 30, which can block up to 97% of UVB rays.
