About E.L.V. Denim Given that E.L.V. Denim is short for East London Vintage Denim, it should come as no surprise that everything the label produces is designed and made in East London. Anna Foster, the brand's Founder and Creative Director has always loved the functional fabric that denim is, and wanted to repurpose vintage denim into new modern, sophisticated styles. Ensuring sustainability remains at the centre of everything it does, the brand crafts its pieces from upcycled or unwanted post-consumer waste denim that consumes only seven litres of water to wash the yarn as opposed to the 10,000 litres traditional jean-making methods use. As a gender-neutral brand, each pair is crafted to be as unique as the person who wears them, with the ethos that they can be shared, loved and worn by everyone.
