Pono was launched in 2003 by sisters Joan Goodman and Barbara Barnett. By then, they'd been running their family button business for years, cultivating a love of materials like horn and resin. One day, Joan voiced her jewelry design ideas to an Italian manufacturer and presto! Her line was in the works the following week. Inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Hawaii, Joan's favorite escape, their collection is also influenced by the artisan tradition of Italy and the creativity of their home base, NYC. With natural materials and Italian resin, Pono creates artistic pieces with a timeless sense of luxury, durability and originality.

Within 30 days of purchase, we accept returns for unworn, unwashed, and unaltered items. Items must be returned in original packaging with all tags attached. A refund will be issued to the original form of payment at the original selling price. If returned after 30 days, a merchandise credit will be issued for the original selling price.
