Artist, antiques collector, packrat - call him what you will, Philadelphia- based artist Robert Ogden is the expert when it comes to transforming the weathered and worn into one-of-a-kind works of art. A self-taught metalsmith who worked in New York City's fashion industry for over a decade, Ogden is the brainchild behind Lostine, a home furnishings design company that produces functional, eclectic décor, like the piece you see here. This floor lamp is crafted from an early 1900s chair base, a blown-glass shade made especially for Ogden in the Czech Republic and a counterweight repurposed from an antique file.
