Style No. 100663129; Color Code: 095
This charming and whimsical little Persian rug hails from the village of Malayer, where it was handwoven over a century ago using old-world wool dyed with natural sources like vegetables, plants, and minerals. One of its most striking features is the beautifully evident abrash—those organic variations in color that occur when different dye lots were used by the women who wove it—adding even more depth, character, and charm. With its low wool pile and timeworn beauty, this piece carries a rich history while remaining effortlessly easy to style. Adorned with intricate small-scale motifs throughout, it brings a subtle yet artistic touch to any space. Naturally aged with scattered wear, this antique gem is a testament to the enduring craftsmanship of handwoven, vegetable-dyed wool.
