There’s something ceremonial about opening the first window on your advent calendar. Popping opening the 1st December and taking that first bite of pre-breakfast chocolate. That inaugural window signals a shift in our general mindset: chocolate at breakfast time January to November? Never. But after the first day of advent? Absolutely.
