There’s something ceremonial about opening the first window on your advent calendar. Popping opening the 1st December and taking that first bite of pre-breakfast chocolate. That inaugural window signals a shift in our general mindset: chocolate at breakfast time January to November? Never. But after the first day of advent? Absolutely.

With this new attitude in mind, chapter two in our yuletide rulebook is simple: tuck into chocolate for breakfast.

Setting the table for the latest instalment of our ‘Yuletide Rules’ film series was a task our stylists relished – Rococo truffles, COCO slabs, Ocelot squares, and of course the traditional Father Christmas-shaped treats were piled high and eagerly devoured.
