Our Promise to Our Community

Anthropologie was founded on the values and principles of inclusiveness and cultural understanding. Every day, we strive to do better, to be better – to better serve our customer and our community.

As a company, we are making impactful changes that address our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion and have taken the following actions:
supported the growth of 9 Employee Resource Groups across our parent company, URBN
launched unconscious bias training for 100% of all new hires starting in 2021
increased representation of models from diverse backgrounds by 17% since 2020
joined the Open to All initiative, where we are taking actions to mitigate bias in the shopper experience and foster an inclusive environment across all of our stores
donated more than $250,000 to YoungArts to support artists from diverse and under-represented backgrounds, including our Anthropologie Leading with Creativity Award winners in 2023
donated more than $75,000 to Nest over the past 2 years to support female artisans from around the world striving for gender equity in the hand-maker economy
We hold ourselves accountable and look forward to sharing our progress.
