Drink Coasters: Stone + Fabric Coasters

Anthropologie's collection of drink coasters brings style and function to everyday details.

What are coasters used for?

Coasters offer protection to surfaces from moisture and heat damage caused by beverages. These small, often circular or square, mats are placed underneath drinking glasses, cups, or mugs to prevent condensation from leaving water rings on tabletops or countertops. Drink coasters also create a barrier against heat transfer from hot beverages, shielding delicate surfaces like wood or glass from potential damage. Beyond functionality, coasters also contribute to home décor, with options ranging from traditional cork or paper coasters to more luxurious choices like stone coasters, which add elegance and style to any table setting while providing the same protective benefits.

How big are coasters?

Coasters come in various sizes, typically ranging from around 3.5 inches to 4 inches in diameter for circular coasters and approximately 3.5 inches to 4 inches in width and length for square or rectangular coasters. However, coaster sizes can vary depending on the specific design and material.

How many coasters are in a set?

Typically, coaster sets come in four, six, or eight, but sets with different quantities may also be available. Some coaster sets include varying designs or materials, providing versatility and style options.
