WELCOME TO THE TABLE:

Meet Culinary Virtuoso
Betül Tunç of Turkuaz Kitchen

The beloved content creator and recipe developer greeted fans in NYC to showcase her Posy Collection and share her Turkish culture.
Is that the smell of freshly baked pastries or the warmth radiating from Betül Tunç of Turkuaz Kitchen? The latter, without a doubt. On a sun-soaked February day in Anthropologie’s Rockefeller Center store in NYC, the beloved content creator and recipe developer debuted at her first ever meet-and-greet to celebrate the launch of her exclusive (!) homeware collection with us.

“I’m so excited for people to have these items be a part of family gatherings, fabulous spring breakfasts, tea times, and holiday celebrations,” Betül said. “I hope the collection adds a touch of beauty and warmth to every kitchen it decorates.”

When developing Turkish recipes (and the collection!), Betül's inspiration always comes back to a craving for home. Inspired by her cooking philosophy, where every dish is not only about taste but also a visual and emotional experience, Betül drew from familial roots as we collaborated together to create these beautiful kitchen keepsakes for colorful, cozy tables.
While Betül has mostly only ever felt her followers’ love through the screen, this event presented the chance for new connections. Decked in a velvety brocade apron dress graced with a bow, Betül affectionately greeted guests one by one, embracing their hands within her own. “Seeing everyone in person made the love all the more real; feeling their excitement face-to-face is an experience I could have never dreamed of,” she said.
She admits the collaboration came at a busy time (there’s a cookbook in the works!). "Working on two projects simultaneously fostered a period of great creativity, which allowed me to better identify what’s essential in the kitchen."

Despite the chaos, Betül never forgot her most important ingredient to life: “Definitely, love. Love is the most important ingredient both in life and in cooking. With love, you can enjoy every moment, every step of the way, even through things that are hard. Love for your friends, love for your family, whatever type it may be — life is meaningless without it.”
Betül has taught us valuable lessons about cooking, but more importantly, about ourselves: Food elicits memories, brings us together, and can serve as a whimsical expression of our personalities.

“I think I'm more similar to a croissant,” Betül pondered, “layered, a little complicated, takes time and energy, but worth it in the end.” So, we ask you, Turkuaz Kitchen followers, what recipe best defines you?
Make it with the Turkuaz Kitchen Posy Collection.
