Anthro's SoHo Travel Guide
Cast-iron architecture. Cobblestone streets. Artistic heritage. These are just a few reasons we're enamored with New York City's historic SoHo district – and why opening an Anthropologie store right in the heart of it was the easiest decision we've ever made.
Now that we've made things official, we've fallen even more in love with all this neighborhood has to offer – from renowned art galleries to impeccable street style to some of the best shopping in the world. (Did we mention there's an Anthro here?). SoHo might make up only a portion of Lower Manhattan, but you can easily spend an entire weekend here eating, shopping, and exploring.
Just ask our Anthro insiders, whom we tapped for the BEST places to visit in and around SoHo. Your first stop? Our store, obvi. But less than a 10-minute walk away lies new go-tos that visitors and locals have yet to discover. Allow us to introduce you.

Ultra-thin crust + out-of-this-world vodka sauce = what some have called "the holy grail of pizza." FYI: they're referring to the TIE DYE™ Pizza, feat. a pesto swirl & fresh mozz! Iconic for good reason, it's a must-order (and devour).

Elizabeth Street Garden
Elizabeth St.
A magical sculpture garden in the middle of the city, you say? It's true, and a lovely place to ponder over nearly 200 years of history (the garden itself was built in 1991). Greenery can be hard to come by in NYC – so, we recommend soaking it up while sightseeing statues of lions, greyhounds, and goddesses (oh my!).
