Charbonnel et Walker
You may not guess from the name, but Charbonnel et Walker was established in England - it's one of Britain's very first chocolatiers, in fact, boasting roots that stretch all the way back to 1875. Formed from a partnership between Madame Charbonnel (of the esteemed Maison Boissier chocolate house in Paris) and Mrs. Walker, the brand's first shop was opened on Mayfair's New Bond Street - and still stands in the same spot today.
