This is a 1930s Chinese Art Deco, sized at 3’ x 4’9, small in footprint, enormous in presence and that ground is something else entirely. A deep, moody teal blue that shifts as you move around her…lighter and more ethereal from one angle, deeper and more mysterious from another. She doesn’t sit still. She breathes.

And then there’s the floral spray casually placed off-center. Peonies in plum and blush, golden blooms, soft coral, a little white…the whole garden, really, tumbling across all that gorgeous blue like it landed there by happy accident.

The pile is plush. Velvety underfoot. You’ll find yourself brushing a bare foot across her again… and again…and again. It’s that kind of rug. The kind that earns a permanent spot on the floor and will love you forever. Vegetable dyes throughout, very nice condition. This little beauty has been well cared for, and it shows.
