ELIN DESSERT PLATE RECALL DUE TO POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD

The recalled Elin Dessert Plates contain cadmium. Eating food contaminated with cadmium can cause stomach irritation, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Anthropologie has received no reports of incidents or injuries.

Description:

This recall involves the Elin Dessert Plate sold by Anthropologie. The recalled plates are lilac in color with orange mushroom, moth, and fern motifs. The plates measure 21 cm (8.25 inches) in diameter and have scalloped edges. The words “by ANTHROPOLOGIE” are written on the back of plate. Only the lilac-colored Elin Dessert Plates are subject to this recall.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and dispose of them in regular household garbage. Customers who purchased the product in-store must return the product to any Anthropologie store for a full refund.
