Lace Firenze Blouse

Rated 4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous! I have to disagree with the other reviewers. I love this blouse - it is nearly a carbon copy of a blouse that I own that belonged to my grandmother in the '50's. I though the quality and detail were spot on, the color lovely. I went up to a size 6 as I am tall with broad shoulders and it fit perfectly (I am typically a 4 in many anthro items). I wore it over an anthro black chemise dress from a few years back, flats and vintage earrings - compliments galore. I agree with the reviewers that it is not too long but it looks beautiful over dresses and higher waist items. And I did not find it boxy, rather flattering as it wasn't skin tight. August 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by meh. i love feminine vintage style and lace gets me every time. there's nothing i dig more than the juxtaposition of soft and hard, as when lace is paired with denim. i had high hopes for this pretty top, even though it's got no cami with it and just a very sheer lining (if you can call it that). it's just so-so. the neckline isn't too flattering for anyone with a sizable bust-line and the overall silhouette is quite straight. i'm sure that this will be loved by many more-slender types, but for those of us with curves, it's so not worth the price; because the overall effect is, as mentioned, just meh. as for the quality: not impressive. the front lace medallion thingie is just sort of sewn loosely on the front and, frankly, looks both odd and a bit cheap. sooooo, back it goes. the only good thing is that, due to all of the screw-ups anthro's been making lately on my orders, i got free shipping. also good because the two 20-year anniversary "special items" i bought are also going back. i've been a anthro shopper for about that long and have watched the quality continue to go down, and the fabrics become cheaper, as the prices steadily rise. what's going on, anthro? no bueno. Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Vintage Style Lace Blouse I purchased this blouse as soon as I saw it pop up on-line and unlike the other reviews, I'm very happy with this blouse because it is so beautiful especially in person. It's blouses like this that keep me coming back to Anthro and this one didn't disappoint. I don't think the on-line photos do it justice. I bought my usual size small, I'm a petite 34D-27-35/110 lbs. and it fits perfect. I love all the varying patterns of elegant lace, the sleeves, the color, and imo think the quality and sturdiness of the lace is well done. I would recommend trying on first as this top hit me at my hip (I'm 5'4") but I didn't find it to be too short, it was just right and it looks super cute with pretty much any pair of jeans.
