Rated 5 out of 5 by Great skirt. I haven't been buying as much from Anthro recently but I think this skirt is great. It doesn't say this in the product description so I will mention that it is machine washable(on it's own - not with other clothing), gentle cycle. The shell of the skirt is 100% cotton and feels substantial enough. The lining is polyester and the lining is really pretty. I'll attach a picture. Also the pattern on the side matches up really well where the back and front are stitched together. I looked at some other ones in the store and they all seemed to be matched up pretty well. So it does seem like quality control was good with this skirt....of course I can't say for sure that you won't get a bad one but my store seemed to have a good batch from the ones I looked at. I purchased a 0 and the waist of the skirt is 13" across when laying flat(so 26" around in total) if that helps you figure out what size to order. I used a measuring tape to measure it. I also love the length of the skirt as Anthro has been lacking in skirts that are this length lately. The pattern actually reminds me of a kaleidoscope so I was surprised when I saw that that word isn't in the name of the skirt. November 27, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful - but has problems One of the saleswomen in the Chelsea Market store was wearing this and it looked so pretty I had to try it on - especially at the sale price. I tried my normal size and I was about an inch away from closing it. I could not size up as the store was out of anything higher than a 6. I passed the saleswoman again and noticed she was wearing the skirt with a gap at the top - she could not close hers either! The other issue with the skirt is it attracts dust very badly - all of the skirts in the salesroom were covered with white lint. March 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful but with some issues This skirt leapt off the sale rack at me, with its gorgeous print and beautiful lines. Tried both my usual Anthro sizes and found the larger size was needed - this skirt is very snug at the waist. Could have gone up another size, but would have created too much bulk elsewhere. Also noticed that the smooth cotton fabric is a lint magnet, which really shows on the solid black portion of the skirt, and that would drive me crazy. Stunning to look at, but not one that came home with me. December 9, 2012

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
