by Inga77 pretty...but disappointed with practical wear
How do people wear this? I tried tucking it into a pencil shirt, and (as one reviewer pointed out) the zipper bunched up. It does not look like the photo at all when paired with a pencil skirt. I am thin, and chose a zero. It may actually be a little too big (too "boxy" as some other reviewers put it). I guess this is my fault as I tried it on without a skirt thinking it would tuck in nicely. Another thing that bothers me: Quit clearly there is no tag showing in the photo. But there is a tag hanging down from the collar in the back. It is almost impossible to snip off the tag without creating a hole in the delicate mesh of the blouse. Why??! It is a pretty concept and sophisticated style. But practically, I wish it had more tapered sides and no tag in the back! (I did not find it a problem finding something suitable to layer underneath...I choose a delicate black camisole).
Because I am in love with the delicate, pretty concept of this blouse--I am recommending it. However, before walking out the door with this purchase, have an idea of how you really are going to wear it.

This blouse is absolutely beautiful. The material is quite sheer, which can pose a problem for most ladies that don't want to expose too much to the world. I was disappointed in this, because I do not like to wear tank tops underneath my blouses, but with this one it is unavoidable. The main problem area is the strip down the front of the blouse. You can see everything.
I agree with the other review that says that this blouse has no shape; however, when tucked in it is very flattering. For reference, I am 34C/29 waist and the 8 fit loosely. Definitely have an outfit in mind before purchasing this blouse.

Overall, this top is really cute; however, some design features leave things to be desired. It fit true to size for me; I took my usual size 6.
I am also happy to report that I happened across a tank that works great under this very sheer top: the Lace Chevrons Seamless Tank in neutral i(http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/24512055.jsp?color=014). If you have fair- to medium-colored skin, the tank will blend right in with your skin tone and be all but unnoticeable beneath the top, allowing you to enjoy its design rather than worrying about flashing people. I tried on a M/L in the tank and it fit great (34C chest). I think that neutral tank looked way better than the white tank the model has on in the product shot because it is cut lower, meaning you can see the horizontal and vertical lines of the lace rather than the scoop neck of the undershirt.
Once I'd solved the sheerness issue, I thought I was home free. However, I was very disappointed to see the fit in the waist. It's really loose---no definition at all. It needs either a belt or to be tucked in. However, when I tucked it into my skirt, the side zipper bunched up all weird and the top wouldn't lay right. I didn't try it with a belt, but you should definitely try it styled before buying to make sure it works for you. Will reconsider if it goes on sale.
