Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Skirt I have been to the Isle of Skye and just love this skirt but it has to go back because it is running small. I'm a size 14 and have many Anthro items in this size but it seems the really unusual stuff always runs small. This makes me very sad. I need a 36" waist (35" at the very least) but this skirt has a 34" waist. July 17, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Neon colours! I was planning to order my usual size 14 without seeing it when I saw the size 12 in store today ( of course here in Canada size 14's are a rarity which is a constant disappointment). Now I am on the fence to whether or not I will order it at all. It really is a unique print, but the colours are not even close to what is shown online or in the catalogue. The yellows and greens are neon acid green and the trees along the bottom edge are electric orange and blurred which I feel ruins the photographic effect of the print. The cotton is light and is almost a sheeting weight, so it will likely wrinkle easily. It is well made though, nice waistband and lace trimmed lining. Funny though I noticed that the online model was wearing a flat fronted non pleated version which differs from the catalogue, and the previous reviewer mentions the pleats or tucks in the skirt that she purchased, so there must be various versions out ther as the one that I tried on in store was a straight pencil skirt. Sort of disappointed as I was expected the colour way to be more realistic, so I am still deciding. Sizing seemed to be true, although it s a bit shorter than most antho skirts. July 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Maybe my favorite thing I have bought in a WHILE This skirt is just lovely. Such a unique print - it can be dressed in so many ways to make it funky, cute, professional, casual, dressy... but always fun! I think it could work across a few seasons too. I agree with the reviews that it runs on the small side for Anthro, but not terribly. I am usually a 4, sometimes a 2, and the 6 worked fine. Regarding the colors, the front of the skirt has the same design but as you size up, there is more of the very bright green on the back meeting at the left hip -- bigger size means more fabric. At the sale price, I'm just tickled. And then I found out it was machine washable... What else can a gal ask for? September 6, 2012
