Rated 5 out of 5 by Stunning! Wow! This skirt is absolutely gorgeous. Although I do not often purchase polyester, I couldn't resist this skirt at the sale price (and, I am sure something similar in silk would have cost loads more). This beauty did not disappoint. Although I am not shaped like the model as I'm a curvy size 8, the skirt drapes on me the same as it does her, which I attribute to a fantastic design! It's a full-length maxi but not too long on my 5'6" frame which is nice. It's a straight skirt and the micro pleats do not add bulk. This skirt has a half-slip made of stretch poly that feels substantial. I have not worn this around much yet so I'm not sure if the lining will ride up, but I'm happy with this purchase either way! True to size. I purchased my usual size 8 and it's perfect. This skirt has a hook and zip closure and the waist is not elastic, so I would recommend sticking with your usual size. March 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Adorable column maxi skirt! For someone that feels like pleated bottoms makes my hips look bigger, this skirt is a miracle! I was recommended to try this skirt after an attempt with the Cube Rush Midi Skirt proved to be a total failure. For once, the pleats did not make my.hips look bigger (27" waist 37" hips). In fact, it miraculously looks "unhippy". I am totally thrilled that the maxi was not overwhelming for my 5'5" frame. I took my usual size 2. Quality wise, I marked it as 3 stars as it is made of polyester and is dryclean only as the other reviewers have pointed out. March 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautifully designed, but does run narrow in waist This skirt is absolutely gorgeous and looks/feels much richer than you'd think considering it is made of polyester. (Ridiculously overpriced at $198, but a bargain for $30). The drape is perfect and as other reviewers mentioned, the pleats do not add bulk. I'm 5'2 and it was the perfect length for me to wear with heels. I was really suprised how flattering the skirt was for my short and curvy frame. Sizing note: I ordered my usual Anthro skirt size and it was snug since the the waist is quite narrow and has no give to it. If you are between sizes or tend to carry weight in your hips or mid-section, then I would definitely size up so that the skirt sits comfortably on your waist and not at your belly button, which it did on me).
