Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE LOVE LOVE...after getting them stretched These are officially my favorite pair of booties. I absolutely love them. They go with everything; they make my denim shirtdress look super cowgirl chic, they make my plain blue sheath dress into a trendy day to evening look, they also pull together my street wear outfits! (They look especially sexy with the orange color Pilco Serif cord leggings, also on sale!) I really like that they opening is a tad bit big - it gives them an effortless, thrown together look. When I got these in the mail, I was absolutely elated to see that they are just as cute in person as online. However, I COULD NOT get my foot into the boot. The shaft was wide enough, but it was so narrow through the bridge of the boot (where the shaft goes into the toebox) that I had to get them stretched. Luckily, I have a master cobbler right up the street and for a few additional bucks, I got a gorgeous pair of boots. I also found that they fit pretty small - I am a true size 7, and got a EU 38 in these and still couldn't get my foot in them. I definitely can't wear them with thick socks, they are a tad bit tight. Rated 2 out of 5 by Beautiful...but unwearable. The shoes are a supple grey, with slight darker fade toward the toe, and the floral pattern is beautiful at the ankle. However, the leather is very stiff and difficult to wear. I have a narrow, flexible foot, so putting them on wasn't too difficult. But the opening was very stiff and much too wide for my ankle. Even with a thick sock, it still looked very awkward. I feel that the fit was TTS, but the heel would pop when I walked. Since the shoe had no movement, it was like walking with cinder blocks on my feet. I feel that the shoe would work much better for a person with a normal to full ankle and calf area. Much too wide and stiff for my narrow ankle and foot. So sorry to leave a negative review- because they are beautiful shoes. November 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful, comfortable staple These are not Holding Horses, but actually Jasper & Jeera, a brand I haven't previously purchased. They are very comfortable and I love the ankle height. Sometimes the woven tops on boots like this are all individual and different, however this boot is the same no matter what pair you get. The toe and heel are a little darker than the rest of the boot, but it gives it more dimension and is not distracting. The gray is just what is shown here and is a great neutral that I normally don't gravitate towards. The bottoms have no grip, but nothing that a walk around the block can't fix. November 18, 2012

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
