Rated 3 out of 5 by sshumans Very cute, not great design
I bought the black and white version of these sandals, which are very cute!
Unfortunately, I was looking for a comfortable sandal, and while the soles have a little support, the straps on the upper-top of the foot would need to be worn in a lot before being comfortable. The deal breaker for me is that putting the sandal on takes a lot of time due to a (easily fixed) poor design. You have to put the strap through the metal clasp and then put the extra strap through a very small circle of leather material. It takes me like a minute to put on each shoe! If you want to wear these once a week and look cute they would be a good choice. Not a good everyday sandal.

this is a really cute sandal! and i have been long looking for a sandal with very specific needs for my narrow foot: one that has an adjustable ankle strap, a low heel, and straps that criss-cross the toes-- so i decided to take advantage of the free shipping offer and give these a shot. i had already tried on anthro's twined shimmer t-straps, but they did not fit my narrow flat feet, and so i was not too hopeful that these would either. most sandals that do not have adjustable toes straps sit too high above my foot and my foot flops around. these, to my surprise, were not too loose. they do sit a fingers-height above my foot, but it does not look bad, nor does my foot flop around. it fits my normal size 9 perfect. (my guess is they would be too tight for a wide foot?? i'd say they run narrow.) i like the slight heel (all the super flat sandals on the market these days i find so uncomfortable, like walking on cardboard!) and it is pretty cushiony as i walk around the house. also, they have a rubbery non-slip tread which is nice. they are a bit stiff (--kinda like how my puma's were when i first got them, i felt like i was clomping around-- but are now super flexible and comfortable) so these seem like they will be comfortable too, they will just need a breaking-in period. the leather is not super soft, it is like a brand new belt, it will need breaking in also. the design flaw the previous reviewer wrote about i discovered as well: the buckle is weird: the ankle strap does not feed into a normal buckle (up thru the metal, then down thru the metal) but it has only half a buckle, and feeds down thru a small leather loop. it takes a bit to feed it thru, and then on my very first try wearing them, when i was pulling the strap out, the leather loop broke right off. it was apparently stitched right at the very edge and gave way at the slightest tug. very disappointing in such otherwise quality shoes. it should have a proper buckle, design should not trump one of the most important aspects of the shoe! weird. i am going to exchange them, but i am still indecisive if i'm going to keep them. the peep-toe is also stiff, and an unfamiliar shape on my foot; it will need some walking around the house to determine if my foot can get used to the sensation. i have to confess i am bummed they are made in china-- when i see "imported" i think of europe and good quality. so, that they are made in china, and the leather clasp broke already does not give me much faith, however: i am so desperate for a sandal that fits my hard-to-fit foot ( i have been looking for years to replace old sandals loved to pieces. very hard to find!) that i may just choose to keep them and be extra careful with the buckle. i have a few more shoes coming in the post, so i am waiting to make my final decision, but these are high on the list, for design and hoping-for comfort! if you take the time to break these in, and are careful with them, i think they are a good shoe, if you are willing to work with it's flaws...
