Rated 5 out of 5 by Button Back Pencil Skirt What a totally fun skirt! It is much brighter in person- candy-apple red. I paired it with a black cardigan and black patent leather pumps. I was worried about the "Mini Mouse" effect, but I was very happy with the way it looked. I am also planning to wear it with a white T-shirt, cropped jean jacket, and blue pumps for a totally different look. Unlike other reviewers, I do not feel this skirt ran big at all. It felt exactly TTS. On me, it fit like a true high-waisted skirt. Maybe because I am only five feet tall? I also LOVED the shorter look in the back. I thought it just added to the fun look of this piece. For me, this skirt was a must-have! September 15, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too big and bold for me. The color of this skirt was a little brighter and lighter than I was expecting after viewing the color on my monitor. In person, it was a bit more...maraschino cherry and a little brighter than what I was looking for. I'll admit, my wardrobe is predominantly grey with a lot of other neutral colors, so this color was always going to be a stretch for me. The bigger problem for me was the fit. From the model shots online, I expected the skirt to be very high waisted (think: Girls from Savoy's ooh-la-lace skirt from 2010) which is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the skirt was HUGE on me and barely stayed on my hips, much less sit where it was supposed to. In order to fit the way I wanted (with a high waistline), I would have had to take about 2 inches out of the waist. I tried it on with a black top and the overall look was a little too Minnie Mouse for my taste. I could see the combination being cute on many girls, but it was too whimsical for my tastes. I'm also a little uncertain as to how I feel about the reverse hi-lo hemline. The back of the skirt is shorter than the front (which goes below the knees) and seemed off. It's definitely a unique take, though! August 23, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by So strange I usually love this designer (especially her pants) but this skirt was not doing anything for me. I'm usually a size 8 and was drowning in it. The longer length in the front and shortness in the back was a bit ridiculous looking and ironically I wanted it for a minnie mouse costume and still had to return it! The fit just wasn't what I needed it to be. September 2, 2012

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
