by tippytoe Love this style but ...
Stats: Size 12, 38c, thick middle, 5'5", L/XL.
... I decided to with the bright red Maeve Charleston Henley instead. Runs a little large. If you're a 'between size' then size down.

This was such a cute shirt UNTIL I washed it exactly as it told me too. Machine washed (cold), tumbled dry (low) and it shrank at least one size. Not cute at all anymore and a total waste of $70. I would have happily hung it to dry, IF THE LABEL HAD SAID THAT. Now, Anthropologie's "customer service" is giving me the run-around as I'd like the shirt replaced #and I'll hang it to dry, btw#. I don't live near a store - I got this shirt as a gift while on vacation. VERY VERY VERY Disappointed.

Hmmm... i just don't know what to make of this shirt. Isn't it funny that if it were priced $10-20 cheaper, I would have no qualms deciding. However, it is priced at $68 and it is rayon.
I love the pattern. It reminds me of Otomi, which is something I cannot resist. The fabric feels very much like silk, so much so that I had to recheck the tag. I had bought it to wear with a long white corduroy skirt I have, but I do not think it looked exactly how I wanted. The fit is rather big and I wonder if I had sized down to a small from my usual medium if I would like it more.
I am still on the fence about keeping it. I just have to figure out how I would I wear it. I wish the sleeves were as cute in real life as they are on the model, but they are much looser. The ruching is not as defined. It is baggy. But again, the pattern is beautiful... Might be a shirt worth waiting for sale for.
