Rated 5 out of 5 by WONDER PANTS! But where did the tall ones go? Oh dear. I came back here to buy the wine and cream colors in the tall version and there aren't any 36" inseams left! Where have they gone? Also, Anthropologie, didn't you used to have a 'Tall' section on the pants menu? Please, please bring back the tall section as well as the tall version of these amazing Pilcro Serifs! I'm 5'10", 160lbs, a 6/8 36C up top, a 10 on the bottom, and I have wide hips, which I am finally starting to embrace. I bought these in a 30 Tall (36" inseam) in turquoise and love these as much as I can love a pair of pants! Pilcro has officially won me over as best pants-brand of the year! I've worn and washed them a few times before writing this review. When they came in the mail and I tried them on, they were ridiculously long. After washing them, they didn't shrink width-wise but I'd say they Iost about 2" of length after they came out of the dryer, and thus ended up fitting me perfectly. The attached photos were taken after the pants have been washed. I could have sized up to a 31 if the 30's weren't available, but I would not size down, if that helps any ladies with a curvier rear end. These are extremely slim-fitting through the top of the calves, thighs, and butt, and WONDER OF WONDERS, they do not highlight (beware, bad word coming up) cellulite! How this is possible, I don't know- I think it has to do with the cord fabric being more forgiving in various lighting situations. I have ZERO muffin top in these (my hand is not hiding a muffin top, I was just holding my shirt up), and they make my hips look sexy rather than just plain big, which in turn makes me feel wonderful all day long. I feel that these can be worn as pants, not leggings, as long as you don't have a vpl. These look great with flats but can also tuck into boots. They can be casual or dressy depending on the top and shoes. The back pockets are real but the front pockets are not. The waistband (a nice, high rise for smoothing out the stomach area) is just a tad tighter than the rest of the fit, but they're still very comfortable. They hold their shape, unless you constantly pick at one spot. I had an itch on my leg one day and the pants had a raised lump where I kept scratching, but it went away after they were washed again. The seat doesn't get baggy. That's what really matters. I love these! Please bring back the tall ones! I am checking the Anthropologie website every single day until the 36" inseam returns. :) October 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by More Pilcro!!!! YES! I am a huge fan of this company. I had previously bought a pair of cord leggings on sale in the spring and fell in love with them. It is the thing in my closet that I am conscious not to wear too much! When I saw these posted I about jumped out of my skin and hurried to purchase. I went with the ivory this time, to contrast with the dark pair I own. One thing I was worried about was that the color might look too skin like, but never fear. It is far distinguishable and a delightful color. These are the vice of people who have always wanted to wear leggings as pants yet struggle with the burden of holding respectable roles in society. They are thick enough that you really can wear them to work (in a casual environment) and still enjoy the comfort of leggings. They hold their shape really well, despite being so stretchy. My other pair is durable for a few wears before it needs a spin, and the best part is that it is machine washable. I personally wear a 28 yet am a size 4. I was tempted by the "long" option as I am 5'8" and mostly legs (as you can see) but the "regular" was a perfect fit. I think that the price is totally reasonable and it was worth it to me to make sure I had a complementary pair in my closet. I'll be watching these like a hawk for when they go on sale so that I can collect some more colors. August 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sleek fit without ever being too tight The size 27 Petite thin cords are a bit loose on my waist and very stretchy in all directions, yet fitted throughout the upper leg and calf. For my 5'2", 32-24-36 body I should have ordered the size 26 petite, which is the same size I wear in AG Stevie cords. Feel just like super comfortable leggings or even pajamas! The 27 petite inseam measures 29 1/2", and the leg stretches even longer when you pull it on. I tried pulling them up all along my legs, like stockings, but it still bunched a bit. Has working zipper and button, making it easy to get on and off. The back pockets are real, but the front 'pockets ' are fake. Turquoise Color: There are other product shots on the Anthro site with what I think are these Pilcro cords that make the color look more grayed/muted, but the true color is a turquoise, although a bit darker than the photo here looks on my monitor. Looks great with white, black, many grays, pure and muted colors. So if you like to wear leggings, I would highly recommend these as they look more like regular cords, but are as comfortable as leggings. August 3, 2012

Drop Waist

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
