Rated 4 out of 5 by Styling is everything I usually wear a small or XS in Anthro dresses and had to take the medium on this. The pullover styling meant that the small didn't go over my head and shoulders without popping a few stitches and made my hips bulge out. In the M, the waist sat at the perfect spot and it was the perfect length. But I couldn't shake the feeling that I was wearing a very pretty nightgown because it was so comfortable. I passed this time but will try on the blue if I see it in a store and will make sure to bring in jewelry and shoes to get a better feel for it. September 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by another wonderful addition to the closet! "Tried it out on a whim in store during the 20% of full priced merchandise promotion and ended up loving it. I am usually a size 6-8 with 36B-29"-37" measurements. I took a size M and it fits perfectly for me. At 5'6, it doesn't touch the floor which means I can get away with wearing flats in this dress. To chime in with what the other reviewers are saying, the waistband does feel snug which i can see it being uncomfortable for some women. I tried on a size large to see if it would lend more room but it ended up being too big all over so I'm sticking with the medium. This maxi dress is sexy in a sophisticated way because it shows off your curves without revealing much skin. I'm also happy that the cut out in the back is not too low for the bra to show. The material is also very comfortable to wear and feels soft against the skin. it can be dressed up with the right accessories and can also be dressed down for a casual day out. It does have pockets which is always a plus. September 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Some good and bad points I really did feel like a ballerina in this dress and the scoop back is very pretty. Unfortunately, the skirt adds a lot of bulk at the waistband and on me at 5ft 2" (118 pounds) the waistband was too low. It looked better if I pulled the skirt section up a little higher on the waist but overall it still looks quite boxy/broad through the torso. I have an hourglass figure so its quite a miracle to make me look like I have no curves. Plus with no zip and having to pull the dress over ones head I did hear stitches ripping and the knee length lining bunches up as you pull it over your head. Its very soft though and I couldn't be bothered with expense of an international return. Its not worth full price but I would pick up the blue if it went on sale. Plus for us petites I really only need 1-2" to completely clear the ground. October 18, 2012
