Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful dress, but not if you have hips! I wanted to love this dress, but when I put it on, I hated the way it looked on me. I'm 5'6", pear shaped, and it hit me right at the knee. The color and quality is awesome, but it made me look wide at the hips, so I had to send it back. September 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by lovely dress This dress is just lovely. The top is nicely fitted and works perfectly with the high waist on the skirt. The color is vibrant, but not in an obnoxious way, and it will be perfect for a variety of occasions. I usually wear a 2 or a 4, but I went with a 2 on this one. I'm also very tall (5'11") and this dress is an appropriate length for me to wear and feel comfortable! September 12, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by I wanted to love this dress. I love the colors of this dress. I love the cut of the top and the material of the top. It should be a flattering, perfect, go-to dress for me. However, when I tried it on, the skirt was just terrible. It is not constructed well. The part where the skirt fabric pleats above the seam is too big. It extends about an inch and a half above the waist band. It distracts from the clean, fitted look of the top. The skirt has very large pleats which are only loosely ironed into the fabric. I think they were going for a breezy, less structured feeling for the skirt but it just ends up looking sloppy. It also looks like a maintenance nightmare. I think these "pleats" in the skirt would disappear on a humid day or get pressed out of shape when I sit down. I have another dress from anthropologie in black with a similar design but the skirt has micro-pleats from waist to hem. It looks expensive. I wish they would do that with this skirt. As it is, it looks like something a teenager or college girl on a budget should wear. September 11, 2012
