by donkey may be best for petite girls
i see a lot of reviews reference that the shoulders are too small for this dress, but being petite at 5'4", i found this dress me rather well. i originally was going to grab the L with all the advice to size up, but my regular medium was great. it is definitely boxy as noted, but the flair is just so cute. the quality seemed to be great also and very sturdy.
i like this dress, but am hoping it'll go on sale as i can't rationalize buying it at the current price.

The only reasdon I didn't get this dress today is because is a little bit short on me and not because I am tall (on the contrary)) but because of my age. Yes it is boxy but not as much as to take away from the fit. Therefore I do not agree with the other ladies. Again, it is that 60s kind of style. Clean, simple, unstructured fit but still flattering for my taste. If I were 10yrs younger this dress would be hanging in my closet already. I have to say though that the picture might trick you as the stylist cinched it a littlle from the back therefore it looks like it has a smaller (high) waist. It doesn't.

I think this dress is really adorable, I bought it and intend to wear it in Paris this summer, it has a European flair (the personal shopper at the store agreed). I will agree that the arms are cut weirdly small- the Medium fit me everywhere but the arms. I went with the large, which, yes, is a tad boxy, but that's the style here. Anthro has other dresses that are actually shapeless, which this is not. Definitely pricey, but so cute I bought it full price. Can't wait to see more from this designer.
