Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this dress! So happy that I got this. The color and cut are beautiful! They didn't have it in my store so I ordered it online, and I got a medium and a large to try. For reference, I'm 5'7" and 155 pounds, and depending on the cut I wear almost any size at Anthro, but usually medium. I'm glad I got the large, because I like things to be at my knees and not shorter. And this dress also dips up at the side. I'm not sure if it was a fluke, but the medium was way shorter than the large. The armholes are a tiny bit big and I might even have it altered because I love the dress so much. The weight and fabric are more substantial than I expected, and the dress is fully lined. Also - pockets! My favorite. I wore it right away and got many compliments. A winner. July 26, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by So disappointed! I was a huge fan of these lovely swing dresses from last year and bought all 3 colors. When I saw this new one, I was thrilled and ordered it immediately. What a disappointment! Why did Isabella Sinclair mess with a good thing? The fabric is a very loose weave sort of "homespun" look, which wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I could see it would be very vulnerable to snags. Last year's styles had a removable light knit full slip that allowed the airy fabrics to move. This version is fully lined. You'd think that would be a good thing, but it made the dress heavy and added bulk to the seams, especially in the pocket area, where it drew unwanted attention to the hips. The lining sort of clings to the top layer and the pockets get trapped in a bunch, adding to the problem. The hem is still high/low, but not tapered in an elegant way. The front points seem especially exaggerated and the sides come up considerably higher, leaving the lining showing on the sides at least an inch. The armhole is about an inch lower, as well. What were they thinking? RETURN! July 26, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by So disappointed #2 The review above titled "So Disappointed" couldn't have said it any better. The dresses from last year are perfect. I probably wear them at least once a week. I was so excited to see this vibrant blue color and fully expected the same quality as last year. I'm generally an XS or S in dresses (however I have XXS from last year's version), and the XS in this one is lifeless. It's heavy, hot, doesn't have the same nice shape as last year. I may cut out the integrated lining just to lighten the dress up some since the outer layer is thick enough to not need a lining. Please, Please, Please, Please make a version again from last year's!!! August 15, 2016
