Rated 4 out of 5Â by zandrabananza Nice, versatile sweater
I saw this at my local anthro in beige and tried it on in both a small and a medium. I thought it looked weird at first, and then I realized it was because the gathering in the back had been ripped out. I went back to the rack and noticed that a lot of these sweaters had that problem--I think it just wasn't sewn well in the first place. The small fit closer to my body but was too tight across the shoulders and under the arms. The medium was looser but overall more comfortable while still being flattering, so I purchased it (with a damage discount) on assurances from my boyfriend that he would be able to sew it for me, and he did! It looks great now. It definitely flares out more for me at the front and back than on the model (in other words, it doesn't sit flush against my stomach). This sweater has become a fast favorite. It matches everything and is formal enough for work. The design is beautiful with nice attention to detail on the cabling, the pockets, and the wooden buttons. It's also warm enough to wear outside but cool enough that it's comfortable to leave on once you get inside. I did notice, however, that the sleeves are already starting to pill after only a few wears. This doesn't bother me very much, but I know some people don't like it. I'm a 34C-30-40 and usually wear a medium in cardigans, so for me this was TTS. Overall I think it's a good deal at the sale price!

such a cute sweater. i loved the red color and how it it TTS on my petite frame. Unfortunately, within five seconds after I put on the sweater the stitching in the back came out. It fit terribly then. My first thought was to send it right back, but i really liked it and wanted to wear it with my outfit right then so I took five minutes to sew it up myself and i did a better job because it hasn't come back out. Granted this is disappointing because you expect better quality from anthro and i did not get the sweater at the deeply discounted price it is now, but if you buy this sweater , i would anticipate the stitching in the back to come out. be prepared to sew!

I'm 5' 3", 140 lbs and curvy in the bottom, I order regular M and runs so big that the tail skirt starts under my derrier which looks weird. I do want this to work but will return and order in petite and see if that works. I give it 4 stars due to the size runs large.
