Rated 2 out of 5Â by asta17 I have been looking for a simple black dress than can be worn alone or layered in the fall/winter, so I ordered this one. Boy was it disappointing. I tried my usual XS (5'1, 32A, 105 lbs) and it was big all over. The length looked frumpy on me, the waist hit lower than my natural waist, and there was too much extra room at the chest. From the side view you can see how it sagged in the torso because of the poor fit. Overall, there is just too much fabric for my size I guess. The one side has the extra panel and the asymmetry just looks odd in my opinion. Most disappointing was the fabric - it is not at all a nice poly - it is rough and sheer. Even through 2 layers of black, you could see right through it (see photo). Returned immediately.

Classic, versatile, packable, flattering, non-ironing dress.
I highly recommend this dress for its elegance, simplicity, and versatility.
I have a small petite frame and this dress is so elegant and flattering that it covers the stomach area if you have a 'muffin' like me. I am size 32A and wearing the XS. This dress is true to size so I do not recommend to go one size up.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by rockabillyqueen oh this dress, this DRESS!
I wish I could give it six stars, it's really that beautiful. It's so gorgeous, the way it moves, and the red color is really more of a very flattering tangerine shade. I have nothing in my closet like this, and it really looks great with everything, be it a trench, a jean jacket, a rugged leather jacket...you can do so much with this dress and it's definitely a show stopper! I usually wear a 2 or sometimes a 4, (34C) but the S fit me a bit generously, I think it's the style. It is very comfortable, and there is no endless tugging at the waist, it's exactly where it should be which makes me very reluctant to size down. I would say stay with your usual size.
This is truly one special dress!
