Rated 1 out of 5 by What's it got in its pocketzes? 1. I'm 5'5" tall, 135 lbs, and 36D-30-38 and the size medium fit me but was not flattering. It gapped at the armseye and the rectangle over my belly made me look fat. 2. What's it got in its pocketzes? The pocket bags are thick and wrinkled and make your hips look huge. If the rest of the dress had been flattering, I would have sewn the pockets shut and cut out the pocket bags. 3. The dress skimmed the body and hit below the knee. 4. The fabric is a very thin silky rayon with sequins, and it's lined with a thicker rayon. The pockets are made out of corrugated cardboard (kidding, but close). January 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Exquisitely gorgeous w/ TERRIBLE pocket placement! I am going on the TCM cruise which has a flapper night. I saw this at Anthro, and it looked like the perfect dress for the occasion without being too costumey. The fabric is fantastic and rich, and has a decadent look to it. Nice change from all the twee-ness. I tried on the 4, and ye gods! The pockets poofed out ridiculously. I looked like I had two growths, one on each side. Now I adore pockets, but they are usually found on dresses and skirt with fuller proportions not a slim sheath. But darn, looking at the picture makes me still want it. I may Wish List for a sale and have it fixed by a seamstress. December 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light weight beautiful patterns Right off the bat, I am a big fan of this designer and have a few other pieces. This is very lightweight and smooth like silk. The patterns are very pretty and much for in focus than the photo on the site and therefore prettier. Warm Spring days and Summer wear. I was hoping to be able to wear a LS lightweight, black jersey under it but would say that it is too lightweight to wear anything under it. Therefore it is not 3 or 4 season. However, it i versatile in occasion. Unlike other Tevya designs, the detailing at the neckline has only a few, small sewn-on sequins. Very BOHO chic. Pockets awkward because material is thin. At $200, I think that it is too expensive for what it is. January 24, 2013
