Rated 5 out of 5 by Bought on a whim and love! I had to review after seeing the first two not so great ones, I LOVE this dress! I bought it on my way out of the store over the weekend without even trying it on. I am so glad I did. It hangs nicely, the fabric has a really great weight to it, making the skirt swing in a very fun and feminine way, It will be fun to style in many different ways, layered, dressed up or down, tights and boots, leggings, so many possibilities! I bought the olive color because it is more of a neutral, I am short, 5'4" but still liked the regular size (as opposed to petite) for length. December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Dress I saw this dress highlighted in an Anthro email and thought it was super cute, so I went and tried it on at the store and LOVED it!! I started with the olive (very neutral, more on the tan side) and then went back and got the blue!! I am 120 lbs, with a size 0/2 top but a 4 bottom-- I have a hard time finding dresses that aren't too tight in the hip/bum where I have some "extra." I got the XS and it fits great!! The S was too big on top, but since the bottom was fuller I could do the XS. It swings away beautifully from the waist and hits me above the knees. I've worn it with tights and boots, and over skinny jeans. I'm a teacher and bend over alot so I dont think I would wear it with nothing on my legs- its just a bit too short, the fabric is really flowy and moves with the slightest bit of movement. The fabric is heavier so it has some structure and isn't see through, so if you're standing straight mostly you could def. wear it bare legs! I see myself wearing this into the spring with tights or cropped leggings. The sleeves look good rolled up too! I do accessorize it with a thick belt like other reviewers have mentioned. Bottom line: Super easy to wear, casual and dress--Great Buy!! January 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not impressed I really wanted to love this dress--the color and style are exactly what I was looking for in a shirtdress. I tried it on twice and spent a lot of time trying different belts and just couldn't get it to look right. I'm about 5'6" and usually wear an 8, and the waistline on both the medium and small sits too high--belts fall to my natural waist below the gathered part of this dress, so the gathered part sticks out and looks weird. The gathered waistline also hung unevenly--it was higher in the back than in the front. Then the top of the flared skirt adds bulk to the hip area. The sleeves that roll up with button tabs are a nice touch, but rayon doesn't want to stay put like this and the sleeves unroll themselves anyway. That's when I realized this casual-looking dress is dry clean only--and that was the dealbreaker. Too high-maintenance for an easy casual dress! March 11, 2013
