Rated 3 out of 5 by Just OK I've loved everything I've ever purchased from Anthro... until now. I've only ever purchased clothes that are also available in the stores, so buying a few pieces from their online-only collection (Mehndi skirt included) was a new venture for me. I sent all but one piece back -- the quality is just not there. This skirt is OK at best; the color is bland and the beadwork is boring (it literally is just an outline of the design in the same color beads). It lacks Anthro's signature "pizazz." I am a totally average size 4 - I wear a 4 in almost every brand in every style and this skirt was HUGE. The waist was big, but the hips were bigger. It was also very, very heavy so it didn't hang well. In short - not a great buy. It's definitely not nice enough for an evening out, and the beadwork is too impractical for it to be an everyday-at-the-office skirt, April 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love. Love. Love I saw this skirt in my local Anthro sale section and was immediately drawn to it. Someone had returned it to the store, and I could not believe how beautiful it is. The online photos just don't do it justice. The fabric is thick, and the workmanship is amazing, as is the sale price. As stated in the previous review, this skirt is HEAVY due to the beading... it probably weighs a few pounds. That is where the thick waist band comes into play: if the band is even slightly too big for you, I can see how this would hang oddly and be unflattering. Normally I like to wear skirts and pants that hit low on the waist, but this skirt must be worn high up on the natural waist; if not, it could look overly bulky. As someone with small hips, the little bit of extra volume that the skirt adds didn't bother me. As a point of reference, I usually wear pants that are 26/27 or pants/skirts that are size 2. In this skirt I bought a zero, and it fits just right. If in doubt, size down. This will be perfect for several upcoming events that I have, since it can easily be dressed up or down with different tops. It also can pretty much be used at any time of year due to the fabric weight. In the winter I'll throw on some tights and boots with it. Can't wait to use it. May 19, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
