by GeoInCalifornia Rise too low! Length too short! Size way down!
I was pleased and hopeful when these machine wash cotton Chinos, not cropped, not ankle length, and not Linen made their appearance online.
SIZE: I took the advice of previous reviewers and sized down. I normally wear a 28 or 29 in Pilcro jeans. I ordered size 27 Regular in Green Slate (in stock), Khaki (back-ordered), and Candied Ginger (back-ordered). I’m 5’5” tall, 135 lbs, waist 29, hips 36.
FIT: The 27’s were snug through the upper leg. I wore them at home for about 45 minutes. I expected them to stretch out more than they actually did. The waistband was at least 2 inches below my naval, and gaped in back. Too low for comfort. I would have had to tug the pants up every time I stood up. They also pulled uncomfortably through the crotch and developed unflattering wrinkles on each side. The inseam was almost 1.5 inches shorter than described. Unrolled, the length barely hit the high water mark. No better than ankle length in Regular.
FABRIC: The cotton is paper thin and not particularly soft. Perhaps a good launder with fabric softener is needed. The lower rise would benefit from a wider waistband made from heavier fabric to prevent it from folding like an accordion. A little stretch would provide a comfortable fit. I was hoping for something less casual that could pass as career wear. The Green Slate pants are washed out to an odd yellowish-green across the top of the thigh.
Recommended if you like a lower rise. Size down one or two sizes if you don’t like slouchy pants that slide down your backside. If you’re straight through the hips, keeping these up and in place could be a challenge. Plumber’s b_tt was not the look I hoped for.
Anthro! Help a girl out by giving the length of the rise for pants in the description like you do for jeans.

I purchased the moss color in my usual size 27..love them..they are lightweight and relaxed. I did notice that they do stretch some throughout the day,I don't think its a deal breaker on these (unlike Pilcro's jeans) since they are meant to be a looser fit... and not sure I really would be able to size down and have them fit properly. I'm going to wash them and dry them to see if it helps. I think if you are between sizes I would def. try both of them though.
I need another color :-)

Rated 1 out of 5Â by BWeaves They're HUGE
1. I'm 5'5" tall, 140 lbs, 38-32-40 and I'm normally a size 10 in Charlie trousers and 31 in Pilcro jeans. The size 30's in the Hyphen were falling off of me. I'm afraid to order the size 29's as I think they'll also be too big.
2. They are soft.
3. The waist gaps and there is a bit of stretch to the fabric which made them fall down even faster off my hips.
