by LindsayB Try on more than one pair
For reference I'm 5'3" about 145lbs, and am a true medium/6-8 in bottoms at Anthro. I don't normally write reviews but I felt like I should defend these pants. I pulled a medium to try on first and I was shocked at how tight they were in the thigh area, so I grabbed the large. The large was huuuuge! I was so confused, so I thought to myself how could that be possible? Than I decided to try on a completely different pair in a size medium and they fit perfectly. And I bought them instantly bc the fabric, the pattern, and the slits at the ankle are wonderful. So don't give up so fast on these little gems bc they may turn out to be a good addition to your wardrobe.

I love the look of these pants and tried really hard to make them work. One reviewer mentioned that every pair fit her differently, but I tried on several pairs in the same size and had no luck. They all fit me the same. The waist fit great, but they were way too tight in the calves. They bunched up and got stuck at my calves instead of flowing above my ankles. For reference, I am 5'4, 110 lbs and tried on an XS. I usually wear a 26 in jeans, but I do have muscular calves. If you're skinny in the calves, I definitely recommend these because the material is lightweight and perfect for spring/summer.

I really love the print on these crops! I was immediately drawn to them for that reason as soon as I entered the store. They are unique and fun, was truly hoping they'd work for me:(
For reference Im 5' (yes a true shorty), 114lbs, hourglass and curvy yet petite. Basically I have thighs, not tree trunks but not considered model material;)
I tried the XS as these have an elastic waistband. Immediately the crotch for me was super uncomfortable as it hung low. They have no "give", stretch to them. Seems they are designed to be high waisted which I'm not a fan of. You would have to pull these pants past your navel short gals for the crotch to almost sit where its supposed to and if you have a thigh a tad bigger than the models they aren't going up any higher anyway!
The bottom of the pants have slits by the leg opening. I don't know if it was just my pair I tried but the openings flapped open, did not lie against my ankle and just didn't look good to me. These pants are also quite thin, which I wouldn't mind for the spring and early/late summer. Basically they didn't work for me which was a bummer as I'm on the hunt for a printed, relaxed pant I can love and live in. I can see them working on taller, thin gals like the model pictured. Good luck;)
