by DenverStacy Came home with me...
I went in looking for this blazer and she came home with me. I can't begin to tell you how much I love it! I attached a pic, and honestly don't know WHY I was looking so serious because it really was love at first sight. Yes, it's polyester but it feels nicer (I just associate polyester with "ew") and is very lightweight. This isn't a blazer to keep you warm..it's definitely for spring and summer temperatures. There are shoulder pads which give it shape. The lapels are great too...the way they drape just add to the appeal. Surprisingly I think it will be very versatile. I tried it on with a white tank, came home and paired it with a neon orange top and both white and distressed blue jeans. All the options looked great. For the record, I'm 5'5" 135lbs 34D and the small fit great. Maybe could have sized down to an XS but I like the slightly oversized look of it.

by Court785 Fluorescent colour; awkward shoulder pads
Bought this Blazer thinking it might be work appropriate. It's way too bright for my job unfortunately as the colours aren't a muted floral as shown but rather fully fluorescent pinks and fuchsias.
At 5'7, 150lbs and a 34D I opted for my usual medium which does fit well. The shoulder pads add some structure to this blazer but jut out strangely on mine. I thought the shoulder pad might have been squished in the mail but have hung this up for a day and still that awkward protrusion... might be solved by dry cleaning but at $128 for polyester, I wasn't expecting to need to dryclean this before wearing it.
This blazer is also made in China. It really aggravates me that Anthro insists on using the term "imported," which conjures up an image of fine Italian footwear being stitched by a happy old Grandpa, not clothing being manufactured unethically. People are willing to pay more for local or made in USA/Canada Anthro! Hop on the bandwagon.
This blazer also has a double breasted button clasp which is not visible in the photos. The button sits at hip level. I actually like the look of this closed as it adds something different and makes for a sort of feminine- tuxedo jacket.
Overall, cute blazer but very casual. Quite light as well which makes me think this will need to be worn exclusively in summer. Would have been much better in silk! This blazer barely made the 'stay pile' for me but the unusual cut saved the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by katdawnC Much brighter than shown
The material is very lightweight and almost like chiffon. I find that the sleeves don't stay rolled up very well because of the slippery material. The colour is also much brighter in person than in any of the pictures online. The shoulder-pads are thin but do add some extra width to the shoulder area. The front lapels are longer than the back of the blazer and dip into a V shape which gives it some architectural interest and is flattering. I think this blazer will be a bit too bright for my office but I'll look forward to wearing it evenings and weekends with jeans and tanks. Fits true to size.
