Rated 4 out of 5 by Ill-fitting, baggy sleeves but deep olive color If I told you 98% of the clothes in my closet are from Amthro, and this is the 1st item that compelled me to compose a review after 3 years of lurking over other's reviews, you understand how strongly I feel about this jacket. The good: it's not a drab green color, but richly and beautifully dyed. The quality is great, and the zipper is easy to pull up w/o annoyingly catching on the zipper's own teeth (hate that#. The BAD: The fit! Donlt count on the draw-string waist to create a waistline for you, even if you have one naturally! I am reliably an XS/S size 2-4 in Anthro clothes and got an XS in this #5' 5.5", 134 lbs, 35 C, athletic# . And yet, when I cinched the waist in, it pulls all the fabric together so it 'bustles' together, creating a bulky thick gathering around the waistline, not a good look. Secondly- the sleeves are CRAZY-baggy an when rolled down, actually flare out into a bell-shape making you look like you threw on a second-hand store jacket that is 3 sizes too big for you. Lastly, the left side lapel does NOT hang at all like on the model, why else do you think she is in such a strange pose covering her waist, the lapel bagging out, and the strange shape of the arms? Overall, not slimming despite being lightweight abd pretty. But guess what? I still had to have it. At the low-low price of an additional $50 it cost to have both the arms tailored to be straight- and the wiast nipped in about 2" #and I have a 29" waist, hardly petite!#. See pics for reference- these were taken POST-tailoring. Do not be fooled by the shots of the model. I also had to have 2 'hook/eyelets' sewn into the left laprel in order to make it hang right when worn open. That's right, I was willing to go the extra mile for this jacket. Maybe the joke is on me. Now... if this global-warming-San-Francisco winter would just dip below 65*, I could actually wear the dang thing. January 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! Found this today while shopping for some sale vases. Got those too...... I had not seen it online and when I spotted it I bee lined to take a look. Love the design and fit. The lace inserts and laced back hem give a standard khaki jacket a great design twist. There is even a lace insert on the hood and on the pockets. The waist area can be adjusted from the inside. The sleeves can be rolled up with snaps or left unrolled. I think it may run a tiny bit big. I wound up with a large but could have taken a medium. Thought I might want more room for a sweater or more layers as it is not a heavy jacket. Love this and worth the price. January 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looove it <3 I was looking for another item from Anthro actually, and when I was browsing the store, this jacket caught my eyes and I needed to try! So cute that I couldn't resist purchasing it. It's military inspired jacket with laces, makes the jacket more feminine. Love the cut and the length, not too short, not too long. I was wearing a skirt that time and it looked great with it. You can adjust the waist inside. Light weight jacket, so perfect for LA weather! Got my normal size xs and fits perfect!! January 1, 2014

Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
