Rated 2 out of 5 by KiwiAmericanGirl I REALLY wanted to like this but...
I loved how this blouse is styled on the website, it inspired me to buy the whole outfit. However, I'm frustrated with the shirt in real life. I REALLY wanted it to work, but even after exchanging it for a second try, i'm sadly returning it.
The colors and fabric are beautiful and the fit is true to size.
However, the blouse is very short! Loose, it barely reached the waistband on a mid-rise pair of pants, and once I tied the drawstring on the bottom of the blouse, the blouse barely cleared my bellybutton. (i'm 5'8" tall). I was so confused, I actually measured the length, and found it was roughly 22" long, much shorter than the 26" listed on the website. I held it up against some other blouses I have, and it's definitely inches shorter.
I thought it might be a one-off miss-cut, so I sent it back for an exchange. The replacement I received in exchange- it's just as short, so I guess it's supposed to be like that. It's too short for me to wear with any pants I own without showing skin around the midriff.
The replacement blouse I received also has serious problems with pattern mis-match. You can't tell from the photo, but there's a seam that runs straight down the front middle of the blouse, and in the one I recieved, the light blue rows don't line up where the two halves meet in the middle--- one side has a blue stripe running just above my breast, the other side has a blue stripe running just below, so it looks wonky and confuses the eye.
The drawstring is also an odd touch. I tried the blouse on with dark navy pants, and the thin light blue drawstring looked funny hanging there. It also doesn't seem to stay tied well, and it makes the blouse tend to ride up.
The fabric itself is beautiful. If I still had the first blouse I ordered, I would have ended up keeping it, replacing the drawstring with elastic, and wearing it specifically with the skirt it's pictured with on the website, as it's a very high-waisted skirt. But with the pattern mismatch, it's unworkable and the whole outfit's going back now.
If you can find one where the patterns match up across the front, and if you're short waisted or petite, it may work better for you.

This blouse was such a great price that I decided to give it a try even though it's not a style I usually wear. Turns out that it was much better than expected. I usually wear a size 4 blouse and got the S. I did think the combination of a the drawstring and curved shirttail hem was a bit odd, but I tried it without cinching the drawstring and the length is perfect for me. I think I'm just going to remove the drawstring and wear it as a loose shirt. It's not too long to be worn out, but long enough to tuck in. The fabric feels nice and silky, and the cut makes it versatile enough to work with casual or dressy outfits. A great find for the price.

I also really wanted to like this, especially when I ordered it during the 20% off sale. It's a beautiful pattern and color and the silk is lovely, but the hem is odd-- shorter on the sides and longer in the front and back, which made my curvy hips look wide. And the front and back seam is also weird-- the pattern doesn't line up. They must have carefully selected the top for the web photo, since it appears to be lined up. All in all, it wasn't worth keeping, even at the great price.
