by ingrid Pretty frilly top
I didn't think this top would even zip up in an XL. But it did, whew! It's absolutely adorable though the fit over my 38d chest was snug. I generally wear size 12-14. I would say that the XL fits like a size 12.
My large chest caused the waist to rise an inch or two above my actual waist, which is often the case for me with anthro clothing.
Arm holes run slightly large. But makes it comfortable for chubby me. :o)
The colors offered are gorgeous, I fell in love with the light blue but against my skin, the red actually looked better.
Very anthro and highly recommend.

by anthroqueen This top perfectly hugs my hourglass figure. It also looked great on a taller, more lean woman I saw in the dressing room area. This should work for many body types. The scalloped lace at the bottom adds a nice and vintage touch.

I have never owned a peplum top before, but this one does everything right. the bottom part hangs down instead of sticking out weird, the armholes are roomy, and the materials are high quality. I have a very long torso, and the waist hits right around my natural waist (maybe a tiny bit higher?) but overall it's a long top; my tummy does not show even when I lift my arms.
Chartreuse is my favorite color for clothes, so I ordered the chartreuse even though I was very attracted to the pale blue (mint). I was surprised to see that in person it is an incredibly bright lime-yellow; it actually reminded me of Crayola's "lime green" crayon. In another context, I would have called it florescent. It's kind of a neat look for an otherwise vintage-inspired top, but the overall impression is nothing like the soft, romantic victorian lace look I was hoping for. So I exchanged it for the mint, which is very soft and romantic. In the store, I found the red to also be a bit brighter than it appears online.
The fit varies a bit from piece to piece with this top. I usually wear an extra small, but since it doesn't stretch, I sized up so I could be comfy and nothing would bulge when I took a deep breath. I wanted it to fit like a lace top, not like a corset. Among the smalls in the store, some of them sat relatively snugly on my waist, and some were a bit loose. If you can, go to the store and try on multiple tops in your size to find the right one. I have a 26" natural waist and 34b chest. On me, I would say the small has a "fashionably loose" look; comfortable and easy fit. So this top may actually run a bit large (I usually have to size up to a medium to get an easy fit look).
Over all, this top is beautifully executed; on the higher end of quality for Anthropologie. If you like neon, order the chartreuse.
