Rated 3 out of 5 by not for the hippy I have a very small waist- and larger hips in comparison, so I thought this dress would be perfect for me... It made my hips and butt look huge! Usually I like some poof but it tapirs back in toward the bottom and I felt it made me seem like I was bigger than I am. I am 5'2" and this dress was a bit to long on me- past the knees, which I felt ruined the styling of the piece. The color is great, I wish it were lined but it doesn't seem flimsy. April 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty dress, order 1 size down! This dress has a great cut, if you are mid-section challenged like me, this dress will hide the tummy. Top section is nicely fitted and bottom section is poofy. I ordered size 6 and 8, I'm normally an 8 for dresses at Anthroplogie, size 6 fit perfectly. I also ordered another Karen Walker dress and 6 is clearly the correct size. 8 is way too big on me. June 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great dress, especially at sale price! I bought this on a whim and didn't expect too much for the sale price; I'm very pleased but am subtracting a star from "design" because the hip area is just sooo voluminous. The neckline/shoulders are broader than shown in the picture - it looks like the model pinched the shoulders towards her neck. Everything else is as shown, but when wearing it, the skirt feels very full compared to the much narrower leg opening. Of course, it is a tulip skirt, so I shouldn't be surprised. I wore this to work with long cardigan and a wide belt; the cardigan covered my arms, making the dress office-appropriate, and the wide belt (over the dress and cardigan) helped to cinch everything in. I purchased my regular size 8; a smaller size would have been too tight in the bust. June 17, 2013

BLUE MOTIF Style #:26825620 A Made In Kind design.

Captured in classic nautical motifs and crisp colors, Karen Walker's second Anthropologie-exclusive collection, Runaway, pays homage to Victorian seaside holidays. Equal parts street style, high fashion and unabashed optimism, Runaway uses simple fabrics - chambray, poplin, voile and French terry - to embody the essence of summer. This cotton jersey tulip dress is cinched at the waist and easy through the skirt - can you blame us if we wear it all season long?
