First, the pictures here online do NOT do this jacket justice. Had I seen the pictures online I'd never have bought it. In store, however, it's a different story. The detailing is super cute and the ruffle in the back is very feminine looking. I do have to say I disagree regarding sizing from the other reviewers. I did not have to size up. If you want it to look like the pictures here online, then yes, size up but personally I don't think it looks good as loose as she has it. It's better more form fitting. I'm usually a 0, sometimes a 2, and I bought a 0. I even have athletic muscular arms and that's usually my issue with jackets and I didn't have to size up due to the arms (had a shirt on underneath too). I also am NOT big chested, quite flat actually and so that helps because if you have a 34B or bigger, you may have to size up. The sleeves run on the long side so even going up to a 2 for me, the sleeves looked too long and sloppy. There wasn't a ton of difference in the arms/chest/upper back when I sized up to the 2, but the bottom part got too loose so it wasn't as flattering and "peplum-y" as the 0. It's also worth looking at several different ones because I had three size 0s in front of me and all of them varied in color and the lacey trim was dark on some and on some it was the same color as the jacket. Lastly, it also has somewhat of a vintage feel as the leather tends to have a worn in look in spots, which I liked. Same as others are saying, it is a nice buttery leather. Oh, one other thing - the lining on the jacket was almost enough for me to buy it. Super cute navy flowery pattern (see pic below)!

I saw this in my local store and was delighted. The leather is a putty color, rather than beige and its soft, lightweight and gently antiqued. The store had already sold out of my size (in person it's so much more beguiling than the rather uninspired product shot) so I ordered online. I think this is an anthro classic, destined to be hunted down years later on auction sites. It's feminine, delicate and understated: not words we usually use around leather.
Sizing is the problem. It is meant to be worn close to the body (the photographer and stylist responsible for the product shot didn't understand this) so the size 8 I ordered is snug. More like a 6 really. So, if you want snug go with your normal size. If you want to replicate the loose product shot size up.

I definitely agree with the first reviewer who wrote that the pics online don't do this jacket justice. I would never have even clicked on this one if I hadn't seen it in a store. The rich buttery beige color called to me from across the room and once I put it on I couldn't take it off. I'm usually an xs and went with a 2 in this jacket (115# 34-26-36). I probably could have gone with a 0 but would have had trouble with the button around the bust. The 2 was perfect. The sleeves were just the right length for me and the lasercut lace details is gorgeous. I love the tiny peplum at the back - it's not really too identifiable as "peplum" (which I'm weary of this season) but it is a sweet feminine detail. The leather looks a little aged which is perfect in this style jacket. I love that this is what I consider an easy 3 season piece. Love the zippers on the sleeves!
