Rated 3 out of 5Â by morningdew I think this jacket has so much potential; I love soft jackets made of sweater/sweatshirt fabric, however, this particular piece has some fatal flaws.
First of all, it's way too big for me in size XS (5'4" 115lbs), sleeves are too long (cover the knuckles) and the whole thing just looks like a tent. I think the XS may look better on someone who is closer to a size medium. The jacket on the model in the picture must be pinned in the back, because it looks like there is a waist line which there isn't (or maybe the dress she's wearing is giving it more structure)...
The fabric is stretchy like a sweater; for my skin it is a little too itchy, but I am very sensitive to woolen fabrics. The knit is sort of crocheted, very pretty up close, and I like the colors, swirls of a muted lavender/blue and off white, pretty close to the photo.
So, I am definitely returning it, but it may work on a taller person as an A-line jacket.

This new sweater-jacket is simply gorgeous. In fact, I intend to buy it just as soon as my husband gives me the Christmas gift-card that I know he has hidden around here, somewhere. The piece is an interesting combo of cardigan (light weave, breathable, un-lined) and blazer (lapels, double-buttons). I tried on the small which is perfect for my shape: 5'8", 135 lbs, 34-B.
I love the natural fiber content-- 85% wool, 15% linen-- which did not feel scratchy on my bare arms. The blue paisley print is an elegant wash of color, with a stylish navy trim that gives a contemporary lilt. The front hem is slightly higher than the back. And right between the shoulder-blades, a sweeping A-line of fabric that adds motion and freedom to the style, which I prefer. I also like the nubby texture of vertical seams deliberately turned inside-out, to add a splash of casual.
The tag says "dry-clean" but since it is not lined, I will take my changes with gentle-wash, laying flat to dry. The only weakness I could find is the shallow width of the 2 small pockets-- I wouldn't trust a $20 bill to stay in there for long. But no problem, this is not about utlitarian tasking, this is about comfort and joy.

I am very sadly returning this right now to the store. After finding they didn't have an xs in my local Anthropologie I had them order it for me. I anxiously awaited its arrival because it really is a gorgeous sweater and so comfortable but once it came and tried it on I was really let down. First off the buttons just wont stay straight, One side is higher than the other even with the interior button secured so that makes it look sloppy. I am 5'2" and wear an xs or 0 and this just looked too long and frumpy even with five inch heels. Like one other reviewer said they must have pinned it back on the model, there is just too much fabric. I'm sure it will work on larger sized gals but they really need a size P or XXS.
