Regardless of what previous reviewers have noted, I think this can look good on a variety of bodies. I do feel this runs a little large though. The color is a nice tone that can look good on fair, medium or dark skin with a variety of skin tones. The dress falls above my knees, but because of the cut, it looks forgiving. It is loose enough that you could probably wear if you are early in your pregnancy. Overall, this is a great modern take on a flapper style dress.

I love the color and shine of this dress. Unfortunately, it does run big (in the back above the butt, if you have a butt). I'm 5'1, 110lbs, i'd say size 2 on top and 4 on bottom, generally i get XS or size 2 in Anthro products. I got an XS and the bottom fits fine, and from the front it looks good, but you could tell there was definitely extra fabric in the back above my butt. This would be best for more boyish figures. But i loved the paillettes and color so much that i kept it and took out some of the paillettes on the side above my waist (luckily the stitching is so that taking out one won't affect others) and sewed it back up. it would have been better for more body types if it was more fitted with a zipper.

This beauty just arrived today, and I couldn't be more pleased. I ended up purchasing the Gatsby Paillettes Dress on sale, by accident ---originally, my size was sold out, but there was a return after the mark-down--- and it's worth every penny. From French seams on the scalloped liner to individually stitched, peachy-pink paillettes; this dress is just exquisite. The length hits upper mid-thigh (I'm 5'8"), and the cut skims curves (I would describe my body type as slender-hourglass, with a 32C cup size). The color is just gorgeous: something like sparkling pink champagne, or better yet, a Bellini. I am smitten, and intend to wear it both casually and to more formal events. My only complaint has nothing to do with Paper Crown or Anthropologie. It seems that someone removed the sewn-in Paper Crown tag in back of my dress ---along with the size information--- and then returned it. I can not imagine why someone would do such a thing. Because of this, I'm not certain of the size I received, and therefore, can not reliably comment on fit.
