Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful flattering dress I love this dress. I tried on the red and the black. I do have to say the special features really pop on the red whereas on the black it did not make as much of an impact making the black less "special' in my opinion. The fit of the dress was good though, so I am going to try and get the black when/if it goes on sale. The fabric does have a bit of stretch in it so size down. The dropped waist hit me as the top of my hip bones making the flare of the shirt flattering. I was scared it would just add volume. I think that this dress is very versatile. I can wear this dress this season with tights for everyday, with heels and some sparkly jewelry for a lunch with the ladies, next summer with some wedges, and many more seasons to come. I do see online that it is also available in blue. I am thinking about getting the blue too as I love the fit so much. December 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pitch Perfect I am ecstatic with this purchase - I only wish I had known that it came in black before I bought it in the store (my local only had red). The red is lovely and I'm very happy with it, but I tend to prefer black. Nevermind - on to the dress. Its very comfortable and hits in all the right places. I did have to size down to a 4 (I'm usually 6 - 5'3" 36B-28-38). The horizontal stripes, which can sometimes widen a person, are very flattering on this dress and accentuate curves. I might have to order the black, too! December 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by PERFECTION. I tried this on today at my local Anthro store, and it immediately came home with me. The fit and detailing are absolutely fantastic. Very high quality, nice drape, well-made. I have an extremely long torso, so this hit slightly above my hip bones; however, I still found it to be very flattering, because it hits me lower than so many of Anthro's dresses. I am usually a 16/18 pear shape, and the 14 fit well, so you may want to size down. I am very curvy, and fairly well-endowed on top and bottom, and the stripes didn't bother me at all. In fact, I actually found it to be one of the most flattering things I've tried on in the past year. Worth the $$, considering getting it in black and blue as well. December 22, 2012
