I was really on the fence about this "dress." (I say "dress" because it is still showing up in the dress section - although the quality and material are much more in line with items Anthro normally classifies as lounge.) When it arrived - it was so very thin and I thought there was no way it wouldn't be absolutely see-through. But since I'd already paid for shipping - I figured there was no harm in trying it on with some nude undergarments & to my great surprise - it wasn't see-through. I tried pictures with a flash, sunlight, fluorescent light - and the dress remained opaque.
Fit: I'm normally a six/eight - this is my true medium. Super comfortable. Not the most flattering on my thick-waisted figure - but I plan on wearing this out to the farmer's market, errands, etc. on weekends this Spring - and don't mind the less than flattering fit - since style and comfort are spot on. Not to mention - machine washable and pockets!
In the second photo was how I dressed it up to wear out to brunch - colored pilcro jean jacket, some fun sandals and a thick belt. Hoping to get lots of use out of this cute comfy "dress" this Spring.
True to size - the thin material might scare you off - so I highly recommend trying it on. Great spring causal wear.

by silverspoon This "dress" is actually a chemise and hence I think this is what is causing a bit of confusion and the negative reviews. I found it in the lounge section and true to chemise form it is quite thin. The nautical design is pretty and I especially like the design on the sleeves. I tried on the XS and it was slightly loose in the arms but the rest of the dress fit true to size. I would say it fits TTS to slightly loose so size down if you are in-between sizes. For reference, this fits similarly to other lounge dresses/chemises made by Saturday/Sunday.

I read the reviews and bought it anyway. I though this was a cute, casual day dress online, but in person this was basically a childish looking long tee shirt. It was very thin, much less substantial than typical anthro tee's. It looks so much nicer on the website. May work for others, but be sure to try it on first before purchasing. Didn't quite meet my standards for $60. Now, it's going to go back.
