This dress is so much better than I was expecting - the fabric feels great, the cut is amazing, and the print is adorable. I read reviews about sizing down - i'm usually a 0 or 2, and went with the 0. It fits me perfectly, although the belt is a little tight (but can be adjusted by using only one set of the snaps, or removing altogether). Can't wait to wear this all spring!
Things to note: the buttons in front are not functional - there is a zipper up the back. The belt is removable and has two sets of snaps under the bow in front.

I love these Karen Walker dresses, but more in theory (the puffed sleeves on other dresses make me look like a line backer and I wish they were made of a less dressier cotton) than in fit, although I own a ton of them because the print and vintage feel wins me over every time. Anyway, I am a size 12, broad shoulders,180 lbs, 34D, 5'8", and I ordered this in a size 12. It DOES fit big, especially in the waist, but I am OK with this, as I will just re-sew the belt and take it in a couple of inches, plus it fits in the bust perfectly which is good considering the buttons. No major alterations needed. A major bonus is that the fabric, while polyester, is not the weird pseudo-silk of the other Walker dresses, rather this one feels more substantial (like a thick cotton), which I love because it is easier to dress down... Plus, the print is adorable, it looks amazeballs on, it isn't too short, it doesn't show bra straps and it looks great dressed down with white keds and a jean jacket. More cute day dresses please!

I love this dress, and I have absolutely no complaints about it...but I had to return it. I waited until a few reviews were posted because I know that the sizing in Karen Walker dresses can be a bit wonky and I wanted to order the right fit. I am a pretty standard 4, but with a long torso and broad shoulders, and I have one KW dress in a 4 (but it has an elastic waist) and two others in a size 6 (no stretch, no room for error on sizing), so I was reluctant to order down in this one, but followed the reviews and ordered a 2, and I could barely zip it up (and just to note, I'm a 34A cup, so it's not like I'm packing any heat here). So I'm exchanging for the 4 in the hopes that it fits my shoulders a bit better, and perhaps the waist will be just a bit lower too (it was higher than I would prefer). But overall, beautiful print, charming details, and the fabric felt lovely. Well made for sure. I can't wait to get the right size, becausee this is just too cute to pass up. I feel like Anthro could put some general measurements up on each item, and that would've helped to make my decision and save me the return time.
