Rated 2 out of 5 by Lovely yet painful... These shoes are a little narrow, but true to size. I bought them because they are someone flat but they would give me the added height. I also thought they would be comfortable since they weren't heels but more like flats. Unfortunately, I was sadly mistaken. Even walking in them for approximately 15 minutes I could feel pain shooting up the ball of my feet. The ultimate test was when I walked and stood in them for almost 8 hours straight. OMG!! I wanted to die. I own 4 pairs of Rachey Comey boots and I love them all. Exceptional quality & design. I would never dream of wearing them to work cause I literally stand 8 hours a day and heels would not cut it. Since these were platform shoes I thought it would be okay. However, there are no cushion on the inside, so it's like standing on pavement. At the end of the day I could barely walk. Why make such a cool pair of shoes, but have it be so painful? No arch support. Like wearing flats but 10x more painful. Plan on wearing them a couple of hours a day? Not bad. Plan on being on your feet for most of the day? Then you might want to reconsider. There is also no room for sole inserts cause these shoes are super narrow. Perhaps you can buy the shoe a half size larger to make room for inserts? For a pair of shoes that cost almost half a grand I expected a foot massage with every step. Instead all I got was pain. Save your money and wait for the sale. The sale might cushion the pain a little. September 29, 2012

BLACK Style #:25112574 Rachel Comey launched onto the fashion scene after her work was featured in the 2001 Whitney Biennial, an exhibition of up-and-coming contemporary artists. By fusing an intellectual rock-and-roll vibe with minimalist architecture, Comey's shoe line is future-minded with a touch of retro styling. It may embody downtown cool with its clean shapes and edgy profiles, but each pair is designed and crafted to last season after season. This wood and jet-black leather pair is no exception.
