This is an absolutely gorgeous maxi. The colors are rich and vibrant. The pleating is beautiful, holds up well, even when rolled up in a small package - I pulled this straight from the online bag and no wrinkles. The beading around the neck is lovely (see close up). And the fit is quite flattering on my thick waist - long torso.
Fit: I am normally a six/eight - this was my true medium and it fit perfectly. Lengthwise, I am 5'6" this fell about a 1/2 inch above the floor with no shoes on (which I love because I can wear it with flats).
This is truly a great vacation dress - just pull it from the suit case and wear. Now, I just need to plan a tropical vacation, so I have some place to wear it.

This a great, flattering dress. Much better in person than in photos. The beadwork around the neck is well done and you can't go wrong with the pattern placement. The pleats actually lie flatter n person, so I don't think you need to worry about them adding bulk. My favorite feature was the long, long sash. You can set it where your most flattering waistline is and it stays nice and smooth. Worth the price. I'm 5'7" and the small is the perfect length and fit.

I was seriously worried about ordering this dress, but I fell in love and just had to give it a shot. I'm a figure skater with a very muscular build, 5'4", so I was afraid I would drown in the dress, and that I wouldn't be long and lean enough for it. I didn't get the petite, which I think was a good decision. It just barely trails on the ground with no shoes on. It's perfect for me to wear heels in, and the shape is just breathtaking. As for the upper body, it fits like a glove. The top of the halter neck has hook and claw clasps, which I accidentally broke off when trying to hook it myself, but I sewed it back on easily enough. Overall, one of my most favorite purchases from Anthropologie!
