These boots are super cute in person - I think they look much better with the 'collar' flipped up, so it looks like a normal bootie that hits right above the ankle. This is my second pair of boots from Gee WaWa and I've been very happy with them -- comfortable but stylish, enough room in the toe without looking bulky. The other boots I own are an 8 but I had to size up to an 8.5 in these. These are a steal at the current sale price.

I'm obsessed with these booties! It only took one wear to break them in. I find myself wearing them all the time now, with everything from dresses to jeans. The wine color is absolutely gorgeous. Super comfortable, and I've gotten so many compliments from friends! If you're on the fence, just go for it!

I thought these were beautiful online. They are described as being made of suede and leather, but when they arrived they looked and felt more like ratty fabric and faux leather. The burnishing on the toe makes matters worse—instead of looking like authentic worn suede, it creates an effect of a solvent having been rubbed across the toes.
Further, the laces are a mile long. They appear as shown in the photos only when the laces are pulled all the way around the heel and back to the front—not a good look when the folded-over part is unfolded.
These are made in China, and I really wish Anthro would reveal that instead of saying "imported." The excellent-quality footwear from Brazil, Spain, and Italy is also imported, of course, but that term is not used for those. Upwards of $100 for a cheap-looking pair of boots made in the cheapest labor market available is outrageous.
