Rated 5 out of 5 by Width runs wide! Loving Kork Ease! My first pair of Kork Ease will not be my last. I’m always on the prowl for a brand that fits slightly wider than Medium in front and has straps that adjust for a narrow heel and low vamp. This shoe fits the bill. Other brands with a wider fit carried by Anthro include: Chie Mihara, Argila, Rachel Comey and Coclico. SIZE: I normally wear a US 8. I ordered an 8 online. As I have grown older, the front of my foot has become wider. I seek out Med Width shoes that run wide. After shoe shopping online for 5 years, I can judge width by looking at the bird’s eye view photo. The Deborah is one that runs wide. FIT: When I first tried these on the very front of the band was pushing down tight on my toes. The width was fine, but the clearance was low. I had them professionally stretched for a whole $6. The leather is soft enough to stretch on its own over time. The platform gives a much needed boost in height, but only a 2.25 heel when you subtract the platform. The foot bed is nicely cushioned. The sole is curved so these don’t feel clunky to walk in. Thankfully, they aren’t noisy on tile or wood floors. The bands had enough punched holes for my narrow heel and vamp to feel securely fastened. If you want arch support, these have very little. LEATHER: My biggest concern is longevity of the Vachetta leather. The instructions say DO NOT apply protector, wipe away loose dirt, so they will age with patina. I’ve had Vachetta leather shoes that were ruined when they got a few water drops on them. The color is more orange than my other Vachetta leather shoes, which are closer to a blush-pink. Hop over puddles, stay off wet grass, and keep rain boots handy when you wear these. Recommended and TTS. Kork-Ease Makes Boots too! June 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yes Yes Yes I have been looking for this exact sandal ever since I saw a similar Pedro Miralle 2 years ago which was only available in Spain.! This sandal has the same timeless look but is probably even better for comfort - the foot bed has a lot of support but gives as well and the body molds to the foot perfectly. It is unbelievably comfortable and really does not feel like a heel . As previously stated, the only slight discomfort is that the front straps are a little tight but they will not take long to stretch out. Very nice to have finally found a sexy non wedge platform I can wear all day. June 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The walkable-sexy heel These are not my style of shoe at all, but I love them! They are very comfortable and easy to walk in. The strap across the toes starts out a little tight for my foot, but will obviously stretch a little over time. I found they ran slightly large. When I ordered a 6, they came as a "6/36.5", and I'm more of a 36 in european sizes. That being said, they aren't big enough that they look awkward. My boyfriend always thinks that wedges are clunky looking, so I thought he would likely give the thumbs-down on these shoes. But instead these are now his favorite heels on me, and when I wear them he constantly tells me how sexy they are! The leather and construction also seems pretty top-notch. So these are definitely the surprise best-purchase of the summer thus far. May 13, 2013

NEUTRAL Style #:27461441 Once designed on the factory floors of Brooklyn over half a century ago, Kork-Ease has stood the test of time: their original cork wedge heel from 1953 is on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Landmark Shoe Collection. Celebrate spring by pairing these vachetta leather pumps with a floral print dress, especially if you're not that sort of gal. Deborah Studded Pumps
