Rated 2 out of 5 by magogany wood boots This boot is so tight on my legs I don't know if They will stretch enough for me to be able to wear them. I have small calves and it was a struggle to zip. Not real sure about these September 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Purchased these from another retailer (wanted them in black) and they are very comfortable despite the height of the heel due to the rubber (crepe) soul. The calf circumference is best for thinner calves. I find this to be true of Coclico tall boots (and the reason why I like them, no gapping on me). I'm 5' 4" and found the boot shaft to be a littler taller than expected. Came right up to my knee but the leather is so soft and supple that it didn't rub the back of my leg when the knee was bent. (I'm a size 6 and the 36 was just right.) High quality and craftsmanship. I have another pair of tall Coclico boots and they still look great after 3 seasons. They ARE expensive and therefore investment pieces. (Still deciding on whether or not to keep even though they are the tall black boot I've been dreaming of for years...) September 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Tempting but tight Was hoping these would be THE Boots for me, they looked so perfect in every way. However, as other have stated, they are super tight and even though I managed to zip them over my calves, the tightness runs all the way up, making it look like you are wearing a pair of knee high socks, rather than boots. At least that is the look on me. The quality though is to die for, with super soft leather and a wonderful wooden heel. Gorgeous in so many ways, but for the price, even at sale, I needed perfection. Hopefully they'll look better on someone else. I'd say they run at least 1/2 size small. December 5, 2012
